Creativity is a fundamental part of who I am, so, whatever role or situation I am in, I manage to find a way to use my creative skills, be this in a practical or theoretical sense. On my journey through life I have engaged in a variety of crafts and genres of art and acquired skills with a broad range of mediums and materials including; wire, metals, gemstones, textiles, clay, plastics and in particular I love combining all of these in mixed media projects. In 2006 I studied to become an adult educator so that I could share my skills and passion with others and this continues to bring me great pleasure.
In 2011 I started my own full-time Jewellery business and trade as a jewellery designer, artist, teacher and now also add Author to my titles! The majority of my work is with 'Gemporia' as a freelance designer on their 'JewelleryMaker' T.V. channel. I spent 18 months as a regular contributor to 'Make and Sell Jewellery' Magazine and won the accolade of Jewellery Designer Of the year in 2014. I am also lucky enough to teach workshops all over the UK, either for groups, individuals or retailers such as Spoilt Rotten Beads.
