Eclipse Pendant and Sunrays Technique Workshop
Thursday 27th March – 2:30pm until 5:30pm GMT
This workshop will cover how to create two styles of wire zig-zag weave. The resulting weaves can be used in a variety of ways. Gemma will guide you through two projects that maximise and demonstrate its versatility. Gemma will help you to overcome the pitfalls and leave you confident to experiment further with these weaves and create beautiful designs.
On this workshop you will create:
- A solar Eclipse Pendant
- A Simple decorative bead surround/frame
To join in on the workshop you will need
- 1mm wire (approximately 2 metres)
- 0.8mm wire (approximately 2 metres)
- 0.6mm wire (approximately 5 metres)
- 0.4mm wire (approximately 5 metres)
- jewellery findings such as ear wires, necklace cords etc
- a large focal bead for each project, Coins or rounds approximately 12 – 20mm
- A selection of small beads for embellishments. (approximately 2-4mm)
- basic tool kit comprising of round nose, snipe/flat nose pliers and wire cutters, nylon Jaw pliers and advantage but not essential
- Access to a device to enter the zoom workshop
