This 10-week course is designed to take you from your very first bends and loops to confidently creating beautiful, professional-looking wire jewellery. Each week introduces a new technique through a carefully chosen project, allowing skills to build naturally and creatively over time.
Every session is 3 hours, relaxed and hands-on, with plenty of guidance and demonstrations. You’ll complete at least one finished piece per class—often more—and develop a toolkit of techniques you can reuse again and again.
Basic materials and the use of tools are included in the price.
Save £50 by booking the whole course as opposed to weekly sessions at £35 each
Week 1 – Egyptian Link Earrings or Bracelet
Focus: Spirals, curves, decorative links & connectors.
Learn the foundations of wire shaping while creating an elegant pair of Egyptian-style link earrings. Perfect for building confidence with tools and wire control.
Week 2 – Rosary Link Chain & Bead Cluster Pendant
Focus: Open loops, wrapped loops & briolette wrapping.
Discover one of the most versatile jewellery techniques. You’ll create a delicate rosary-style chain and a bead cluster pendant while mastering secure, professional wire loops
Week 3 – Focal Bead “Brangle” with Coordinating Earrings
Focus: Coiling, cones & jump rings
This week blends structure with style. Learn to coil wire, form neat cones, and make your own jump rings as you create a statement wire bangle and a matching pair of earrings.
Week 4 – Stylish Drop Earrings
Focus: 'Figure-of-eight' weave - Two-wire weaving
Step into wire weaving techniques using two wires to create texture and strength. You’ll make a beautifully embellished pair of elegant drop earrings.
Week 5 – Focal Bead Pendant & Contrast Wire Bracelet
Focus: Wire weaving with three or more wires
Take wire weaving further by working with multiple wires. Learn how to control tension and pattern while creating a striking pendant and a complementary bracelet using contrast wire.
Week 6 – Floral Hair Vine or Tiara/comb
Focus: Tiara twist
Create a truly special piece this week. Learn the classic tiara twist technique while designing a delicate floral hair vine or tiara—perfect for special occasions, festivals, or bridal wear.
Week 7 – Pendant Hangers, Charm Bangles & Hoop Earrings
Focus: Uniform loops & hoops
Precision is the theme this week. You’ll learn how to make consistent loops and hoops, creating versatile jewellery components that can be mixed, matched, and expanded into countless designs.
Week 8 – Collar or Bib-Style Necklace
Focus: Freeform wire & achieving symmetry
Explore more expressive design with freeform wire techniques while learning how to maintain balance and symmetry. You’ll create a bold collar or bib-style necklace that showcases your growing confidence.
Week 9 – Choose Your Project: Earrings, Bracelet or Necklace
Focus: Consistent chain links & connectors
Bring everything together by designing a piece using the three types of links explored during the session. This session reinforces consistency, flow, and professional finishing.
Week 10 – Cabochon Pendant
Focus: Cabochon setting & bail making
Finish the course with a show-stopping piece. Learn how to securely set a cabochon gemstone in wire and create a bespoke bail—an impressive skill that opens the door to more advanced designs.

Refreshments can be purchased from the cafe located on the ground floor.
The workshop space is located on the second floor, students will need to have capacity to use stairs for this course.
