Create a striking Greek-inspired pendant featuring a cabochon secured with an elegant prong-setting. Inspired by the flowing scrollwork found in classical Hellenic art and architecture, this project combines decorative wirework with practical stone-setting techniques.
During the workshop, you'll learn how to construct a secure prong setting for an oval or circular cabochon, create balanced decorative scrolls, weave and finish a decorative bail, and refine your work for a professional finish. Particular emphasis is placed on the prong-setting technique, giving you a versatile method that can be adapted to a wide range of future wire jewellery designs.
Suitable for confident beginners and intermediate wireworkers.
