The following points should (1) guide you through the process of hiring an Item from Adorn Jewellery and Tiaras and (2) Outline the terms of use and the conditions under which the hire agreement is made.

How to hire an Item
- Choose the item you would like to hire, then contact me to check the availability
- Select the add to basket option to pay for your hire and secure your booking
- If you are collecting your item in person the deposit can be paid on collection, if however you require the item to be posted then a deposit must be received prior to postage.
- Deposits are fully refundable on safe, timely, return of the hire item (see terms and conditions below)
- Deposits can be made in two ways (1) Paypal payment into holding account or (2) Cash on collection of item.

- Payment for hiring your item should be received at time of booking, this is non refundable. This guarantees your item remains available for your requested dates.
- Items will arrive with you 2-3 working days prior to the date needed, and will be accompanied by an inspection report detailing the condition of the item prior to posting. It is your responsibility to report any damage or problems you find within 24 hours of receiving the item. failure to do so may result in being billed for repairs.
- Hire prices stated are for 1 week (7 days). Items returned late will be charged at £5 per day and will be deducted from your deposit.
- Items returned broken or damaged will be assessed for repair and a reasonable charge will be deducted from the deposit. If repair is not possible and the item needs to be replaced then the deposit will be retained in full.
- Items should be returned in the same packaging they arrived in via recorded delivery. A printed return address label will be included with your item, you are responsible for return postage costs.
Advice and Guidance notes
- All items will be sent to you with an inspection report, please make sure you check it thoroughly, if you are happy sign the inspection report and put it back in the box to be sent back. If however there is anything that you do not agree with please let me know ASAP, and I will endeavor to make a suitable amendment.
- Taking care of the item is important, all items will come with care instructions and some Do's and Don'ts, please try to follow these instructions carefully and if you have any questions give me a call.
- If you damage or break your hire item please don't panic! and most importantly please don't try and 'patch it up'! or fix it yourself. I can usually fix or repair most damage, for example re-forging the wire or adding more beads etc. my concern with DIY fixes is that I might not notice and then hire it to someone else for their big day only for them to find that they can't use it. This would be disastrous for them and me. I will charge for damages fairly, my rates are £15 per hour labour, and beads etc are priced individually, so at most 50p per bead. A breakdown of any repair work will be sent to you for agreement.
- The materials I use are robust and the tiaras or masks will withstand gentle manipulation so that they fit your face/hairstyle perfectly, so please do not be scared to do this, specific instructions regarding caring for and manipulating your hire item will be given.
