Part of the fun of being a craftsperson is being able to share your skills with others and help them to enjoy and discover thier own creativity. With this in mind I qualified as teacher 8 years ago and have been offering courses and workshops on various subjects ever since. I have taught in formal settings such as colleges and schools and informal settings like youth clubs, community centres and in students own homes. |
Ink and Doodle - Wispy Ink & Feathery Doodles. Zoom workshop 15.05.2021
Join Artists Gemma Crow and Laura Binding for a day exploring Alcohol Inks and doodle techniques.
Laura will guide you through how to use alcohol inks to create beautiful fluid art work. Laura will be focussing on how to create that wispy feel to the art work, fading out the ink in soft feathery style.
Gemma will then guide you through how to work onto your ink paintings to create truly unique pieces of art by sharing with you doodle tips, tricks and techniques. in this session Gemma will focus of doodling feathers, starting on paper to perfect the technique before working onto your ink paintings
Both sessions will take place in one day with Both Tutors on hand throughout to help where necessary.

Wedding and Prom workshops
I offer workshops where you can make your own tiara, fascinator or jewellery, either on a one to one basis or in a group workshop where your friends or bridesmaids make their own jewellery too, a great night in and adds a real personal touch to your wedding or prom. Venues are your choice, workshops can take place anywhere where there is enough space for all participants. Ideas include: Home, Local pub, community centre or even in the park! Prices start at as little as £30.00 per person (based on a 2 hour workshop, for 6 people making fascinators) Birthday Parties Book a birthday party with a difference, enjoy a couple of hours getting creative under professional instruction and tuition to create beautiful jewellery for yourself and your guests to keep and enjoy. For ages 10 and over, Prices from just £20.00 per head. (minimum of 6) Courses & Workshops(please see calendar for dates, times and venues) 10 week jewellery making/wire working courses are available locally 1-1 or small group tuition also available (prices on request, contact me to discuss details) |
