Learn How to create this ancient and versatile rope made with wire.

You will discover;

·       how to create the rope in a variety of sizes

·       how to keep even tension in your work

·       how to add wire

·       How to create your own viking knit tools

·       How to create wire end caps to secure and neaten your rope ends.

Materials you will need

·       0.4mm wire

·       0.6mm wire

·       1mm wire

·       A selection of beads for embellishment if desired

Tools you will need

·       Round nose, flat/chain nose pliers, wire cutting pliers

·       A lazy Daisy / viking knit tool or a cylindrical object such as a pen or pencil (bic biro pens are ideal)

·       A draw plate (not absolutely essential but very useful)

·       A soft polishing cloth or piece of soft felt
