Join Gemma for this introduction to using Sheet metal for making jewellery.
Create some fantastic pieces of jewellery while learning all the fundamental skills to get you started

Materials Needed
· 0.4 – 0.5mm sheet copper
· 0.4 – 0.8 Aluminium sheets
· Optional brass and silver sheet
· Recycled metals such as biscuit or sweet tins, drinks and food cans
· 0.6mm wire
· Head pins
· Selection of 3-4mm beads & Findings for finishing
Tools Needed
· Basic tool kit (comprising of: round, flat/chain nose pliers and wire cutters)
· Metal sheers/tin snips
· Hole punch or drill
· Set of needle files
· Bench peg (not completely necessary for this session but will be used throughout the course)
· Agate burnisher or similar (a teaspoon will also work)
· Fine grade sandpaper or blocks (nail filing and buffing block is perfect)
· Ruler
· fine tip alcohol based marker
