This workshop will cover

·       Hammered textures

·       Scratching or engraving

·       Stamping

You will complete projects such as:

1.     Articulated bracelet

2.     Earrings

3.     Pendants

4.     Connectors

5.     Charms

Materials you will need:

·       0.4 – 0.5mm sheet copper

And/0r

·       0.4 – 0.8 Aluminium sheets

(Optional brass and silver sheet)

·       jump rings

·       Head pins

·       Chain and Findings for finishing

Tools Required for this session include:

·       Basic tool kit (comprising of: round, flat/chain nose pliers and wire cutters)

·       Metal sheers/tin snips

·       Hole punch or drill

·       Set of needle files

·       Metal block

·       Basic ball pein hammer

·       Texture hammers (not essential)

·       Rotary tool with engraving tips or needle files.

·       Letter, number or motif punches (not essential but will be demonstrated)

·       Agate burnisher or similar (a teaspoon will also work)

·       Fine grade sandpaper or blocks (nail filing and buffing block is perfect)

·       Ruler

·       fine tip alcohol based black marker

·       Masking tape
