This workshop will cover

·       Balling copper and silver

·       Creating reticulated surface on metals

·       Using up metal scraps


You will complete projects such as:

1.     Head pins

2.     S-hooks

3.     Celestial pendant and/or earrings

Materials you will need:

·       0.5 mm copper sheet

·       1mm sterling silver wire

·       1mm copper wire

·       Copper and silver scraps

·       Pickle for cleaning metal

 

Tools Required for this session include:

·       Metal sheers or

·       jewellers/german or coping saw with blades

·       bench peg if using a saw)

·       Steel block

·       Ballpein hammer

·       Needle files

·       Gas torch

·       Firing block

·       Glass or metal vessels for cold water

·       Tweezers

·       Brass brush

·       Agate burnisher or similar.

·       Sanding block or nail buffing block

·       Basic jewellery making tool kit
